In summary, our goal is to graduate students who have been discipled and can now disciple others.

Christian education is a Bible-based, Christ-centered process which
(a) leads a student to Christ
(b) teaches him or her obedience to God
(c) trains him in knowledge, attitudes, and skills to effectively serve God

The Lakewood graduate will...
1.

Understand his depraved nature and God’s plan for his redemption. (John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9, Acts 16:31)

2.

Identify his role in the body of Christ, and seek to develop his unique gifts of ministry. (Romans 12:4-6, and II Timothy 1:6)

3.

Seek to develop a Christ-like attitude and live in obedience to God’s Word. (Colossians 1:10, 3:1, Romans 12:1-2, James 1:22)

4.

Resolve peer conflicts in a spirit of humility by giving honor to others and maintaining a respectful attitude toward offenders. (Matthew 5:9,25, Romans 12:16-18, I John 4:7-8)

Allow Scripture to mold his character because God’s laws are written on his heart. (Proverbs 2:7, Jeremiah 33:3, Psalm 119:11, Micah 6:8, and I Timothy 4:12)
