School Board

The school board consists of nine members, five of which come from Lakewood Park Baptist Church. There are also ex-officio members including the senior pastor of the church, the legal counsel, and the school superintendent. Other administrative staff may be invited to attend.

The board is self-perpetuating and members serve three-year terms up to a maximum of nine years in succession. They are responsible for setting the policy of the school and for the performance of the superintendent. School board members have authority as members only as they meet together as a board. Correspondence for the school board should be directed to the superintendent or school board chairman. The school is very grateful for the time these individuals dedicate to pursuing godly wisdom and leadership for the students and their learning.
