Science / DESIGN
Mrs. Elaine Lantz
I graduated in 1987 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. I majored in biology, have a minor in chemistry, and also have an endorsement in general science. I am currently in the process of pursuing my certification from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). From Kindergarten through 7th and 9th grade, I home schooled my two children. In the fall of 2005, I joined the staff of Lakewood Park to teach history, and to work in the Design Learning Center teaching algebra and secondary English.
My family and I attend Dayspring Community Church where I have served in youth ministry, children's ministry, and small groups.
My experience here at Lakewood Park has been a very positive one for reasons too numerous to mention here. However, among them would be the fact that I can integrate Biblical principles and values into the learning experience as I teach. Also, I can have peace of mind knowing that my children are being schooled in an atmosphere that is good for both their spiritual growth and academic development.
