Our ever-changing world of technology
We had the great privilege to hear from Pastor Brian Best and a team of parents on how to best prepare ourselves in this ever-changing world of technology. We discussed some excellent ways that parents could put up some boundaries, including keeping your computers in the main living areas of your home, implementing filters on your personal router, and having the kids keep their cell phones in the kitchen instead of taking them to their rooms. We will do our best to communicate as many of these ideas as we can throughout the year. Our tech team is working on the editing of the night that lasted about two hours. We will let you know when the video is posted as it will be one to check out.
Technology is an excellent tool for us to help our children prepare for this world, but ensuring that our focus on Christ has to be our number one priority. We will continue to filter everything that we do through God’s Word and do our best to keep Him at the center.
