Children's Ministry
LAKEWOOD CITY KIDS
At Lakewood City Kids, we partner with families to help children know, love, and follow Jesus. Every classroom provides a safe, caring environment where children learn God's Word through engaging, age-appropriate teaching.
SUNDAYS
10:45-12PM
Nursery:
Our nursery provides a loving, secure environment where our youngest children are cared for by trusted volunteers while parents participate in the worship service.
2s & 3s class:
Children are introduced to God's Word through an engaging Bible curriculum featuring Bible stories, songs, memory verses, crafts, and hands-on activities that help lay a strong biblical foundation.
4s & 5S Class
Using The Biggest Story curriculum, children begin exploring the grand story of Scripture through interactive Bible lessons, worship, discussion, and activities designed for their age.
K-2ND
Children continue through The Biggest Story curriculum, learning how every passage of Scripture points to God's plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. Lessons include Bible teaching, discussion, Scripture memory, and practical application.
3rd – 4th Grade
Older elementary students continue studying The Biggest Story curriculum at an age-appropriate level, encouraging them to grow in biblical understanding, ask thoughtful questions, and develop a personal faith in Christ.
5th Grade & Older
Beginning in 5th grade, students are encouraged to worship alongside their families during our Sunday morning service. We believe this is an important step in helping children become active participants in the life of the church while learning alongside their parents.
Wednesday
6:30-7:45PM
kids club
On Wednesday evenings, we offer Lakewood City Kids for children from birth through 6th grade.
Children continue with The Biggest Story curriculum, reinforcing the same Bible lesson taught the previous Sunday morning through games, hands-on activities, discussion, crafts, and Scripture memory. This intentional repetition helps God's Word take deeper root as children review, apply, and remember what they are learning each week.
Whether your child joins us on Sunday, Wednesday, or both, our desire is for every child to experience the transforming truth of God's Word, build meaningful friendships, and grow in a lifelong relationship with Jesus!
